Hello, I’m Mary Hamilton Corning,

The founder of CEW, a company born out of a decade-long dream. From a young age, I aspired to create something that embodied all my passions. Designing wedding dresses was my first love, which led to planning weddings just for fun, and eventually, I fell in love with hair and makeup. Combining these interests, I crafted a vision and, ten years later, brought it to life. My journey is a testament to the belief that if you hold onto your dreams and passions, anything is possible.

I’ve been immersed in wedding planning since I was a child, starting with events at my church. This experience evolved into planning weddings for friends and family, ultimately shaping my professional path. Today, I am proud to say that my company reflects my lifelong commitment and enthusiasm for creating unforgettable wedding experiences.

  • Adopted and Family-Oriented: Family is a big support system, and their encouragement will always be pivotal. I understand the importance of family due to my close relationship with my own, and I want to involve your family in the planning of your big day to make it even more special.

  • Pet-Friendly: As a dog lover, I welcome clients to include their pets in their ceremonies and practices, recognizing that many couples want their beloved pets to be part of their special day.

  • Traveler and Adventurer: Traveling broadens my horizons and inspires my creativity. I am familiar with many different places, from the mountains and skiing to the beaches.

  • Avid Reader and Active Lifestyle: I have a lot of experience as an avid reader, which allows me to put a personal touch on my storytelling skills. I enjoy staying active and am willing to help you achieve your goals for your big day.

  • Importance of Friendships: Growing up, I built lifelong friendships, especially during my many summers at Camp Seafarer. I understand the importance of having your closest friends surrounding you on your big day, adding joy and support to your celebration.

  • Local Resident: Originally from New Bern, North Carolina, I’ve been a proud resident of Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle area for about five years.

  • Culinary Explorer: I have a wide food variety palette, enjoy unique food, and am quite the chef myself. I can help guide you in the right direction when it comes to selecting the perfect culinary experience for your wedding.

  • Hiking Enthusiast: I love hiking, skiing, beach, even the mountains and discovering niche foods, reflecting my love for new experiences and adventures.
